Creating a test contact lets you experience Liscio just like your clients do—on both desktop and mobile. It’s a great way to test features, workflows, and messaging from the client’s point of view.

FACT: Our most successful firms try things out with their test contacts all the time!

Use a Personal Email

Important: Use a personal email address (not your firm email) as the Primary Email.
This ensures your test user behaves like a real client and doesn’t conflict with your firm account.

Steps to Create and Invite a Test Contact

  1. Select +Add New (upper-left corner)

  2. Choose Contact

  3. Fill out the fields. We Strongly recommend NOT using your actual name, as it will be hard to identify which "you" is a firm user and which is a client.

    • First Name: John

    • Last Name: Doe

    • Primary Email: your personal email

  4. Select Save

  5. On the right-hand side, select the three dots

  6. Choose Send Invite

An invitation will now be sent to your personal email so you can log in and test the client experience.

PRO TIP: You can't be logged into Liscio as both the firm and the client at the same time in the same web browser.

Use a different web browser, or a Private Browsing/Incognito Browsing window to log in as your test contact.
