There are three Employee Roles in Liscio:

Firm Administrator

This is the highest level of access. Admins can do everything in Liscio.

  • Add, Edit, and Archive other Firm Users

  • Grant Signing Authority and designate the Default Message Recipient

  • Use the Login As feature to view Liscio like another employee

  • Create or change Delete Tags and Templates

  • View text message logs and add, remove Trusted Domains

  • Restrict Accounts

  • Set up software Integrations and monitor eDoc balance

  • Upgrade the firm from the System Billing page

Note: There is no limit to the number of Firm Administrator Roles per Firm.

Firm Employee

Firm Employees can use all the main Liscio features, including:

  • Accounts

  • Contacts

  • Tasks

  • Messages

  • Files

  • Requests

They cannot:

  • Add or remove employees

  • Access billing or integrations

  • Change system settings

Specialist

Specialists have limited access. They can only work with Accounts they are assigned to as a Client Service Team member.

What they can do:

  • Use all the tools (Messages, Files, Tasks, etc.) within assigned Accounts

  • Add Contacts only in those assigned Accounts

What they cannot do:

  • Access Accounts they aren’t assigned to

  • Create new Accounts

Best for: Part-time staff, contractors, or when you need to limit access.

To Assign Roles:

  1. Select the ellipses (three dots) in the Left-Hand Menu.

  2. Select Admin → Users.

  3. Hover over the employee to whom you would like to assign a Role.

  4. Select the edit icon on the right-hand side.

  5. Use the drop-down on the Role field and select the new Role.

  6. Select Update.
