🛑 Late Fees Make You Ineligible
You won’t be able to set up a split-rent plan if there are any late fees on your current ledger - pending, posted, or paid.
💡 Tip: If you’re close to your rent’s due cutoff and worried about late fees posting, consider using Instant-Split (if available) to pay immediately and avoid losing eligibility.
🕒 Timing Matters: When Late Fees Block Livble
Late fees block you before you set up a split rent plan.
❌ If any late fee exists on your ledger (pending, posted, or paid), you won’t be able to set up a split-rent plan.
✅ If your rent was already scheduled to be paid on the next business day, before a late fee was added, Livble will still pay your rent as planned.
In this case, the late fee does not cancel your scheduled rent payment.
Note: If your property manager adds a late fee after your rent was already scheduled, Livble will pay that fee and add it to your first loan payment.
This only applies if your rent was scheduled before the late fee was added.
⚠️ Avoid Losing Eligibility Next Time
Split early & during split-rent business hours - Monday–Friday, 6 AM–3 PM ET.
If after hours & close to late fees, choose Instant-Split (if available) - adds $20 but pays rent immediately and helps prevent a late fee from posting.
If your rent is scheduled to be paid the next business day - make sure your bank account has enough funds by the 2–3 PM ET window; if the debit fails, your rent won’t be paid and the split will be canceled.
⚠️ Important Notes
Livble does not pay or handle late fees for you.
Even a pending late fee blocks a split-rent setup until it’s fully removed.
Once a late fee posts to your ledger, you cannot split rent for that month.
