Fast Track security at Liverpool Airport is designed to help passengers minimize their waiting time during the security queuing process. However, this service is currently unavailable due to ongoing security works. Passengers are encouraged to check the Liverpool Airport website for updates on when the service will resume.
Arrival Time Recommendation
We advise all passengers to arrive at least two hours before their flight departure time, even with a fast track ticket.
You must arrive at your gate on time as per your airline's instructions.
Unfortunately, no responsibility can be taken by Liverpool John Lennon Airport for those passengers who do not leave sufficient time for the checking-in and security search processes.
While Fast Track significantly reduces waiting times compared to regular security queues, it does not guarantee zero waiting time. Plan accordingly to ensure you don't miss your flight.
Accessibility Considerations and Guidelines
For Passengers with Hidden Disabilities
Passengers with hidden disabilities, such as those wearing a Sunflower lanyard, are encouraged to inform airport staff about their requirements. However, wearing a Sunflower lanyard does not grant automatic access to Fast Track security lanes. Fast Track must still be purchased separately via the airport’s website. The lanyard serves as an indicator to staff that additional assistance may be needed during the airport experience.
Additional Assistance
Liverpool Airport staff are trained to assist passengers with disabilities. Passengers requiring specific accommodations or support should contact the airport directly prior to their travel date to understand the options available. In the meantime, please don't worry — your Fast Track purchase is fully protected and will not be lost. If you are travelling today, simply present proof of your Fast Track purchase to the staff member at the boarding card scanner, and they will ensure you are directed straight through the Fast Track route without any disruption.
