We have a few features that may help when you don't know where to start!

If you're not starting because:

  1. All your tasks are important and you can't decide, try our Random Task feature which will pick a task for you

  2. You've never done the task before and you don't know where to start, try our Break-it-down feature which will break your task down into smaller chunks

  3. You just need a little push to continue the momentum, try our Auto Start Next Task feature which will start the next timer for you

1. Random Task (available on desktop, coming soon to iOS)

Starting tasks can be really tough. Whilst it's tempting to rely on urgency and deadlines to give us energy and motivation to start, this can get exhausting.

Let us help you get started by picking a random task for you to start with. By flipping urgency and deadlines, with interest and novelty we can start your momentum.

2. Break-it-down (available on desktop, coming soon to iOS)

Sometimes when you look at the tasks on your list, it's hard to know where to start, especially if it's a large task that needs breaking down, or one you've never done before.

By using our '๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป Break-it-down' feature, we'll help you break down your tasks so you know where to start!

3. Auto Start Next Task (available on desktop and iOS)

By toggling this feature ON in Settings, every time you click Complete on a task, the next task will start straight away.

๐Ÿ’กTip!

We suggest adding a quick break in between tasks to help you adjust to the new task, or to add a few breaks throughout your list to let your brain ruminate.
