Turning on the 'Auto Start Next Task' feature in Settings, will mean when you mark a task as Complete, the timer on the next task will start automatically.

This feature may be especially handy when you're working through smaller tasks and want to move through them quickly. Or, if you're someone who often forgets to start the timer.
