Understanding the Overview Report

The Overview Report gives you a quick, visual snapshot of how your business locations are performing.

Use it to spot trends, benchmark locations, and focus your improvement efforts - fast, across all review platforms within a selected date range.

How to Access

  1. Go to Reports > Overview in your Localyser dashboard.

  2. Select your Date Range and choose one or more Locations using the filters at the top.


Overview Report Sections

1. Average Rating

  • What it shows: Your overall average star rating for the selected range.

  • Additional details:

    • Total number of reviews received

    • Percentage change compared to the previous period

    • Breakdown by review source (e.g., Google, Yelp) on the right

2. Review Volume

  • What it shows: Total reviews, segmented by sentiment:

    • βœ… Positive

    • 😐 Neutral

    • ❌ Negative

3. Response

  • What it shows:

    • Your review response rate (percentage of reviews you replied to)

    • Average response time (how quickly you reply)

4. Sentiment Analysis

  • What it shows: A pie chart of positive, neutral, and negative reviews to help you gauge overall customer mood.

5. Source of Reviews

  • What it shows: A pie chart illustrating where your reviews come from (e.g., Google, TripAdvisor,)

  • Why it matters: Identifies platforms that need more review volume or deserve extra focus.

6. Top Performing Locations

  • What it shows: Your 5 highest-rated locations.

  • Why it matters: Learn from your best performers and apply their practices elsewhere.

7. Low Performing Locations

  • What it shows: Your 5 lowest-rated locations.

  • Why it matters: Pinpoint areas that need immediate attention and improve customer experience.

8. Most Improved Locations

  • What it shows: The 5 locations with the biggest rating improvements compared to the previous period.

  • Why it matters: Recognize successful strategies and share them across your team.

9. Locations Receiving Fewest Reviews

  • What it shows: The 5 locations with the lowest review counts.

  • Why it matters: Identify under-reviewed locations and encourage more customer feedback there.
