How to create/update response templates

This guide covers setting up response templates in Localyser.

Accessing Pre-Set Responses

  1. Navigate to Response Settings:

    • Click on Settings in the side menu.

    • Select Response to access the response template management area.

  2. Explore Pre-Set Responses:

    • In the response template management area, you will find pre-set responses already available.

    • These responses cover various categories and sentiments to address common scenarios.

  3. Customizing Pre-Set Responses:

    • While the pre-set responses offer a starting point, you can customize them to align with your brand voice and specific business needs.

    • Edit the templates, adjust the content, and personalize them using replacement keys for a more tailored approach.


Adding New Response Templates

You can create, categorize, and customize response templates for enhanced engagement.

Replacement Keys for Personalization

  • Use replacement keys like {locationName}, {firstName}, etc., within the response template for automated customization.

  • This ensures personalized responses to customer reviews.

Multiple Languages/Brand-Specific Templates

  • Localyser supports response templates in multiple languages and for different brands.

  • When creating or editing a template, use the language dropdown to select the desired language, ensuring culturally appropriate responses for different regions.

  • You can also select which brand you'd like to have a specific template for.

Categorizing Response Templates

  • Organize response templates efficiently by assigning them to categories such as general, food delivery, or service.

  • Categorization streamlines the response process, making it easier to locate and use templates.

Sentiment-Based Templates

  • Set up sentiment-based templates for specific star ratings.

  • Create different templates for 1-star reviews, 2-star reviews, etc., ensuring tailored responses based on the sentiment expressed in customer reviews.


Auto-Response Feature

  • This feature automates responses specifically for reviews without text, based on the star rating.

Important Notes:

  • Master Admin: These features are available for users who have Master Admin access only.
