How to Add, Edit, or Remove a Competitor on Localyser

The Competitors feature is available only with a Premium plan. If you wish to access this feature, please contact our team to upgrade.

Before you begin, please confirm your access level.

Are You a Master Admin?

Yes, I’m a Master Admin: Great! You can follow the steps under “Do It Yourself” below.

🚫 No: Please send us the required details now. Once we have them, our team will take care of the task for you. See “Not a Master Admin? Send Us These Details” below.

Also confirm if you have a premium subscription.

Do it yourself

🔹 Adding a New Competitor

  1. Go to Settings > Competitors in your Localyser dashboard.

  2. Click the blue "Add" button.

  3. Fill in the required competitor details (competitor name, associated location)

  4. Click "Next".

  5. Add the public URLs for review platforms (e.g., Google Maps, TripAdvisor, etc.).

  6. Once all sources are added, click "Update" to save and finalize the competitor.

🔹 Updating an Existing Competitor

  1. Go to Settings > Competitors.

  2. Find the competitor you'd like to update.

  3. Click the edit (pen icon) next to the competitor name.

  4. Update the necessary information or review source links.

  5. Click "Update" to save your changes.

🔹 Removing a Competitor

  1. Go to Settings > Competitors.

  2. Locate the competitor you wish to remove.

  3. Click the red X button next to their name.

  4. Confirm by clicking "Delete".

🔐 Note: You must be a Master Admin to add, update, or remove competitors.​

📝 Important: You can add up to three competitors per location.

📨 Not a Master Admin? Here's What We Need to Help You

If you need us to make the changes for you, please send all of the following:

  • Your Location name (where the competitor should appear)

  • Max three Competitors.

  • Google Maps link for the competitors

  • Links to review sources (Google, TripAdvisor, Facebook, etc.)

Once we receive the info, your request will be escalated to a team member to process it.
