Location Jewel, LLC has designed its cancellation policy to balance flexibility for renters with security for hosts. While we strive to maintain fairness, some situations may be unique. Therefore, all disputes related to cancellations and refunds will be resolved at the sole discretion of Location Jewel, LLC.
General Cancellation and Refund Guidelines
Once a property booking has been confirmed by the host, the following standard rules apply:
24-Hour Grace Period
Renters may cancel within 24 hours of booking confirmation to receive a full refund, provided the booking was not made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time. Bookings confirmed within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are not eligible for the 24-hour grace period refund.Cancellations Outside 48 Hours of Start Time
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a 50% refund of the booking amount.Cancellations Within 48 Hours of Start Time
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
Host Entitlement
Hosts are entitled to retain a portion of their payout depending on the timing of the renter's cancellation in accordance with the guidelines above.
Service Fees
All service fees charged by Location Jewel, LLC are non-refundable in the event of any cancellation. It is at the sole discretion of Location Jewel, LLC if these fees will be returned.
Add-Ons Policy
Add-on items (such as equipment rentals, additional services, etc.) are subject to the same cancellation terms as the location rental fee.
If a booking is cancelled outside of the 24-hour grace period but more than 48 hours before the start time, 50% of the add-on fees will be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the start time, add-on fees are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
Refunds to renters, where applicable, are processed promptly but may take 6 to 10 business days to appear in the renter’s bank account, depending on their financial institution.
Important Notice
Refunds are only issued in connection with an eligible cancellation request. Renters are encouraged to carefully review and understand the applicable cancellation terms before submitting a booking request.
