Service Fee
Upon completion of a booking, Location Jewel, LLC deducts a service fee equal to 15% of the host's final payout. This fee covers access to the Location Jewel platform, marketing efforts for host listings, customer support services, professional resources, and secure electronic payout processing.
Add-On Fees
Location Jewel, LLC may also collect additional fees for any optional equipment or services (e.g., cameras, lighting, other amenities) that hosts offer to renters as add-ons. These fees help offset the costs associated with payment processing, platform improvements, customer support, fraud mitigation, and related administrative functions.
Fee Transparency
Location Jewel, LLC is committed to a simple and transparent pricing model. Renters see the full price — including all applicable charges — clearly listed on the property page, with no hidden service or processing fees at checkout.
Host Payouts
Host payouts are generally processed within 24 hours after the final rental date, provided there are no unresolved issues such as cancellations, refund requests, or disputes. This is done through our payment partner Stripe.
Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes
In the event of a cancellation, refund request, or dispute between the renter and host, Location Jewel, LLC may withhold funds until the matter is resolved. All disputes will be investigated thoroughly, and Location Jewel, LLC will render a decision at its sole discretion based on the information provided by both parties. Our goal is to ensure a fair and reasonable outcome for all involved.
Overtime Policy
Renters are granted a 15-minute grace period beyond the scheduled rental end time to vacate the property, including the removal of all personnel and equipment. Any usage extending beyond this grace period may be charged up to 1.5 times the standard hourly rental rate, in accordance with host's discretion & Location Jewel, LLC’s overtime policy.
It is the host’s sole responsibility to initiate a revised, custom offer through the Location Jewel platform immediately for any overtime incurred. The renter must accept the revised offer for overtime charges to be processed and enforced. Overtime charges not submitted and accepted through the platform will not be supported or guaranteed by Location Jewel, LLC.
