Introduction

Once a hirer decides to proceed with a booking, they will submit a formal booking request. This guide explains how to accept, reject, or amend booking requests in the Location Portal.

Steps to managing your booking requests on lo:live

1. Accessing Booking Requests in the Location Portal

Navigate to the Location Live platform and log in using your Location Provider account.

  • Once logged in, you will land on the Overview page.

  • Click ‘Deals’ in the left-hand menu, then select ‘Bookings’.

New requests will appear under the ‘Pending requests’ tab.

2. Reviewing a Booking Request

Each booking request includes a summary of the client’s campaign details.

  • Click the Review’ button next to the booking request to view the full details

3. Accepting, rejecting, or amending a booking request on Location Live

When reviewing a booking request, you have four possible actions:

  • Send a Message: Click the speech bubble icon to send the client a direct message about their campaign. The client will receive this message in real time via their account and an email notification.

  • Accept: Click ‘Accept’ to confirm the booking, the space will be marked as booked in your calendar for the relevant dates. The booking moves to the Active tab, and further communication can be handled via messages.

  • Reject: Click ‘Reject’ if the request cannot be accommodated, and provide a reason if necessary.

  • Propose new: Click ‘Propose new’ if you need to suggest adjustments, such as alternative dates or pricing, before confirming.

A: Yes, before you accept a booking request you can communicate with the hirer and use the propose new button to adjust the price, dates or space.

Q: What happens after I accept a booking?

A: The booking moves to the Active tab, and further communication can be handled via messages.

Q: Can a hirer cancel a confirmed booking?

A: No, cancellations must be handled through support or mutual agreement.
