Hi there! Let's get you set up with an easy workaround to import your passwords into your account, since we unfortunately don't have a direct way to import from iCloud Keychain right now.

Don't worry! With these easy steps, you can manually make a file that will have all your passwords ready to import.

Let's Get Started:

  1. Check Out Your Passwords: On your macOS or iOS device, open your iCloud Keychain and review your passwords. Take note of the ones you want to move to your new account.

  2. Make a New File: Now, on your computer, open a spreadsheet application and follow this guide to make a .CSV file of your accounts for import. You'll set up columns for: title, website, username, and password. Then, fill in the titles, website URLs, usernames, and passwords with your account data from iCloud Keychain.

  3. Save Your File: After your passwords are all organized in the document, it's time to save it. You'll want to save it as a .CSV (or Comma-Separated Values) file format.

Awesome job! You've just exported your passwords from iCloud Keychain.

It's important to add your passwords to Lockwell, and then delete your exported CSV file as soon as possible! Follow this guide to import your CSV file of passwords into Lockwell's password vault for safe keeping.
