Lockwell's VPN
A VPN (virtual private network) is a crucial tool for preserving your privacy. Activating a VPN establishes an encrypted tunnel for all of your internet usage, ensuring that your online activities remain protected.
Every Lockwell organization starts with one VPN gateway by default. Admins of your company can add additional VPN gateways by following this guide.
Connect to a VPN
VPNs significantly bolster your online privacy and enhance the security posture of your business. We recommend connecting to the VPN whenever you are working!
Launch the Lockwell desktop app
Browse to the
NetworkpageChoose a VPN server and click the
Connectbutton
The Network protection status will indicate whether you are connected to a VPN.
Connecting to Different VPN Gateways
To change the VPN server you're connected to, simply click Disconnect and select a different gateway to connect to. You'll be able to choose from the VPN gateways set by your organization's admins.
