What's the difference between the Desktop App and the Admin Dashboard?
The desktop app protects you personally: your accounts, your devices, your internet connection, etc.
The Admin Dashboard is for managing your overall team's security. It gives you a high level overview of your organization's security health and allows you to see and respond to security issues.
The Dashboard will display all Admin Tasks that need your attention or Approval. Lockwell provides you with manual control over important security actions.
The Dashboard will also highlight your Team's Security posture and issues so you are always aware of any potential security risks to your organization.
The Lockwell Desktop App
Who can use desktop app? Everyone! The desktop app is your control center for your personal accounts, devices, security features, and settings. Rather than viewing the control center for your team, this one is for you.
From your Admin Dashboard you can quickly access the desktop app by clicking on the Open Desktop App button on the bottom left of the admin dashboard.
The Desktop App will display your issues and provide you with recommendations to improve your personal security.
Passwords gives you access to your password vault so that you can manually add accounts import, edit your passwords, or add secure notes.
You'll need your Master Password to access the vault. If you haven't set up a Master Password yet, here's how to Create a Master Password.
The Desktop App will also display all of your connected devices providing you with Antimalware protection.
Network is where we recommend that you connect and stay connected to your VPN.
Lockwell will automatically protect you from dark web hacks and check for Breaches.
