Hello there! Welcome to your Lockwell desktop app! This is your command center, where you'll find all the services and features you need to keep your digital world safe and secure.

Lockwell will automatically protect your device from malware and guide you through resolving any security issues across your accounts, devices, etc. Add your work accounts to the password vault for safe keeping, connect to the VPN to work safely, and keep an eye out for any security issues!

Contains 4 security tools which address the 4 pillars of cybersecurity:

  • Account security = Password vault

  • Device security = Anti-Malware

  • Network security = VPN

  • Threat intelligence = Breached account monitoring (via dark web scans)

User Dashboard

First stop is your dashboard. This is your security snapshot, showing your security health metrics and color of your services, devices, network, and potential breaches. Open issues impact your security metrics and color. The more open issues you have, the lower your metrics will be. Lockwell's Security Health Metrics and Color System.

Moving along, you'll notice the main menu, which is your go-to for all our services. Handy, right?

Issues

In addition, your dashboard presents a neat summary of the latest issues - giving you details on their last updates, priority, descriptions, and the clever solutions we at Lockwell suggest for swift resolutions. Your cyber issues don't stand a chance!

Password Vault

Let's talk about passwords. Within our secure vault, all your service passwords are neatly tucked away. With your master password (only you know this), you'll unlock the vault and can then edit or change passwords as needed. It's like your own personal password safe!

  • Export your accounts from your current password manager to a CSV file and import them to Lockwell’s password vault.

  • Adding 2FA When adding 2FA to an account in your password vault, you will need to ensure that the 2FA QR code is fully visible on your screen. If it’s behind another app, Lockwell won’t be able to scan the 2FA QR code.

  • Note that Lockwell will generate security tasks for accounts in your password vault if:

    • The account has a weak password.

    • There's a duplicate password detected.

    • The account lacks 2FA for services that mandate it.

    • The account has been identified in a breach.

Devices

Now, onto devices. In the Devices tab, you'll see the protection status for anti-malware. You can manually scan your files for any issues, or let Lockwell do the detective work for corrupted files. Plus, you can also keep an eye on your devices and who's connected.

Network

Network-wise, you're going to love our Network tab. Connect to a gateway, view your network protection status, and Router history.

Here, you can see the protection status for VPNs and the list of all gateways connected to their IP addresses, locations , and status. You should always connect to the VPN to protect your network.

Breaches

Lastly, don't forget to check out our Breaches tab for web monitoring. If any of your account credentials are found in our dark web scans (aka. Your account was hacked), you’ll be alerted and there will be an issue here (as well as the Dashboard) for you to update the password of the affected account. Here, you can see the breach protection status, when the next scan is due, and any breach issues that might be popping up. Plus, we'll provide the latest updates, priority, descriptions, and recommendations from Lockwell to help you tackle them head-on.

And there you have it! With the Lockwell desktop app, you're always one step ahead in your cyber security game. Let's keep your digital world safe, together!
