Delete a single Record from Lockwell's Password Vault
Sometimes you need to do a little spring cleaning and remove old, unused passwords or secure notes (aka. "records") from your password vault. Lockwell makes it simple for you to delete records when necessary, and you can do it on either the desktop or mobile apps.
Please note that any records you delete are deleted permanently and it is not possible for Lockwell to recover them!
Open the Lockwell desktop or mobile app.
Browse to the
Passwords
page to access the password vault.Enter your master password to unlock the vault.
Open the record (password or secure note) that you want to delete.
Click the
Edit
button on the bottom right.Select
Delete
.Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Delete Multiple Records from Lockwell's Password Vault
To remove multiple records from your password vault at the same time, you can enter "Bulk delete" mode by holding Shift
+ clicking the first record you want to delete. After this, you can:
Continue holding
Shift
& click another record. The two records you clicked and all records between them will be selected for deletion.Release
Shift
and individually select the remaining records you wish to delete by clicking them. This will only select your clicked records for deletion.
Accidentally select a record for deletion? Just click it again to unselect the record!
After selecting your records for deletion, click the Delete
button in the top-right and confirm the deletion when prompted.
Remember, you can always cancel your bulk delete by clicking the Clear
button in the top-right, or by browsing to a different page of the desktop app.
Please note that bulk deleting records at this time can only be done using the desktop app.
