For administrators who manage Chrome policies from the Google Admin console, we recommend that you store your passwords securely in your Lockwell Password vault.

Turning this feature off will prevent you or someone on your team from accidentally storing your passwords using your Chrome browser.

Configure settings in your Admin console

  1. Log into your Admin console.

  2. Go to Menu.

  3. Click Devices.

  4. Click Chrome.

  5. Go to Settings. (The User & Browsers Settings will display by default.)

    6. Select your organizational unit or name of the child unit.

    7. Open the Configuration drop-down menu for that unit & select "Never allow use of password manager."

    8. Click Save. Settings typically take effect in minutes, but can take up to 24 hours to apply for everyone.

Now you can rest easy knowing that your passwords are secure all in one place. Lock up. Lockwell.
