🔧 Steps to Remove the Lockwell App from Google Workspace:

  1. Go to Google Admin Console
    👉 https://admin.google.com
(Sign in with a super admin account.)

  2. Navigate to Security > Access and data control > API Controls

    • From the Admin Console dashboard:
Security > Access and data control > API controls

  3. Under “App access control”, click "Manage Third-Party App Access"

4. Find the app in the list:

  • You’ll see a list of connected third-party apps. Search or scroll to Lockwell.

5. Click Lockwell to open its settings.

6. Click "Block" option. “Blocked” removes all access for this client.

  • This effectively removes any granted access and prevents future authorizations.

  • There is no direct “delete” button, but blocking is the functional equivalent.

Google Workspace does not allow literal deletion of an OAuth client from the list once added — but blocking it revokes and denies access completely, which is the intended method to “remove” it functionally.

In the event, you return to Lockwell you can unblock Lockwell.

🔄 How to Unblock Lockwell from Google Workspace:

  1. Go to the Admin Console
https://admin.google.com (log in as a super admin)

  2. Navigate to:
Security > Access and data control > API Controls

  3. Click "Manage Third-Party App Access"

  4. In the list, find the blocked app by its OAuth Client ID or name.

  5. Click on the app to view details.

  6. Click “Change Access”

  7. Select one of the following:

    • Trusted – Full access; users can authorize it freely.

    • Limited – Users can authorize it only if it requests Google-verified scopes.

    • (Avoid setting it to Blocked again unless needed.)

  8. Click “Save”
