Exporting Passwords from Google Chrome

Hey there! Let's walk through how you can export your passwords from Google Chrome and get them ready for importing into Lockwell. It's a simple step-by-step process.

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to the Settings menu.

  2. Look for the "Autofill" tab in the Settings menu and click on it.

  3. Under "Autofill", you'll find a "Passwords" option. Click on it.

  4. Here, you'll see a list of all your saved passwords.

  5. Find the three dots icon on the right side, above your saved passwords list, and click it.

  6. A dropdown menu will appear. Select "Export passwords...".

  7. You'll be asked to confirm this action. To do this, enter your computer's password.

  8. Choose where you'd like to save the exported file on your device and click "Save".

  9. Your passwords will now be exported in a CSV file.
