Hey there! Let's walk through how you can export your passwords from Opera and get them ready for importing into Lockwell. It's a simple step-by-step process.

  1. Start with Opera: Open your Opera browser. Look for the gear icon (looks like a tiny wheel) in the left menu. If you can't spot it, click the three dots icon, choose "Show sidebar", and you'll see the gear icon appear.

  2. Dive into Privacy & Security: Click on that gear icon to enter Opera's settings. Next, click "Advanced", and then click "Privacy & security".

  3. Find the Passwords section: In the "Privacy & security" area, you'll see a section called "Passwords" under "Autofill". Give that a click.

  4. Ready to Export: Now, click the three dots next to "Saved Passwords". Choose "Export Passwords" from the options that appear. You may need to enter your computer password to continue.

  5. Save your Passwords: Lastly, choose where you'd like to keep your exported passwords on your device and ensure the file is saved as a CSV.
