Yes, you can delete your Log Ninja account at any time. To ensure you remain compliant with Waka Kotahi (NZ Transport Agency) regulations, the deletion process is specifically designed to protect your data and ensure you retain your legally required records.
What happens when you delete your account
You will immediately lose access to the app and all of your logs.
Before your account is permanently removed, Log Ninja will automatically send a complete copy of your logs for the past 12 months to your registered email address. This is a mandatory process required by NZTA, as drivers are legally required to hold onto their logbook records for a minimum of 12 months after the fact.
Your data is preserved securely in the Log Ninja system for a period of time. If you sign up again using the exact same email address and details, all of your previous logs and data will be fully restored.
How to delete your account
Tap the Account tab located in the app's bottom navigation menu.
Find and tap the Delete account option.
Tap OK to proceed.
Within a few minutes, you will receive an email from Log Ninja containing your 12-month log export.
