From 1 June 2026, Log Ninja will require an active subscription for drivers to keep creating new log entries.
You can pay for your own driver access in the app, or your company can pay for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal.
Nothing changes before 1 June. You can keep using Log Ninja exactly as you do now.
When subscriptions open on 1 June 2026, you will have a 7-day grace period to choose a plan in the app.
What this means for you
From 1 June 2026, your Log Ninja access can be paid for in one of two ways:
You subscribe as an individual driver in the app.
Your company pays for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal.
If your company pays for your access on your behalf, you do not need to subscribe separately in the app.
If your company is not paying for your access, you can subscribe in the app to keep your account fully active.
Why subscribe?
An active subscription lets you keep using Log Ninja without interruption.
With an active subscription, you can continue to:
Create new log entries.
Keep your digital logbook up to date.
Your logbook stays with you as the driver. Your existing records are not deleted if you do not subscribe, but you will need an active subscription to keep creating new log entries.
What you need to do before 1 June
There is nothing you need to do before 1 June 2026.
Keep using the mobile app as normal.
Subscriptions will open in the Log Ninja app on 1 June 2026, and you will have a 7-day grace period to set up your subscription.
If you are not sure whether your company will pay for your access on your behalf, ask your company first.
How access works
If you pay for your own access
If your company does not pay for your access on your behalf, you can subscribe as an individual driver in the Log Ninja app.
You will be able to choose from monthly, quarterly, or annual plans.
If you joined Log Ninja before 1 June 2026, you're eligible for the founding member rate on quarterly or annual plans.
If your company pays for your access on your behalf
If your company pays for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal, you do not need to subscribe separately in the app. Your full Log Ninja access continues while the company subscription is active.
If your company stops paying for your access, you will not lose your records. You can subscribe as an individual driver in the app to keep creating new log entries.
If you are not sure who is paying
Ask your company first. If your company is not paying for your access, you can use your 7-day grace period from 1 June 2026 to choose a plan in the Log Ninja app.

When can I subscribe?
You will have a 7-day grace period to choose a monthly, quarterly, or annual plan.
What is the 7-day grace period?
The 7-day grace period gives you time from 1 June 2026 to set up your subscription or confirm whether your company is paying for your access on your behalf. During the grace period, you can keep using Log Ninja. If you do not subscribe during the grace period, and your company is not paying for your access, your account will move to read-only.

This rate applies to your first billing period only. After that, your subscription renews at the standard rate.
What if my company pays on my behalf?
If your company pays for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal, you do not need to subscribe individually in the app. Your full Log Ninja access continues while the company subscription is active.
What if my company stops paying for my access?
You will not lose your records. If your company stops paying for your access, you can subscribe as an individual driver in the app to keep your account fully active and continue creating new log entries.
What if I change jobs?
Your logbook goes with you. You will still be able to view and export your existing records. To keep creating new log entries, your access will need to be covered by an active subscription. Your logbook still goes with you. If you are no longer covered by a company subscription, you can subscribe as an individual driver in the app to keep creating new log entries.
What if I drive for more than one company?
Your logbook stays with you as the driver. If you pay for your own subscription, your driver access remains active under your own account. If a company pays for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal, your full access continues while that company subscription is active.

Will I lose my log history if I do not subscribe?
No. Your existing log history will remain available to view and export. You only need an active subscription to keep creating new log entries.
