From 1 June 2026, Log Ninja will require active subscription access for drivers to keep creating new log entries.
Your access can be paid for in one of two ways:
You subscribe as an individual driver in the Log Ninja app.
Your company pays for your access through the Transport Operator Portal.
Nothing changes before 1 June 2026. You can keep using Log Ninja as normal.
From 1 June, you will have a 7-day grace period to set up your own subscription or confirm whether your company is paying for your access.
How access works
If you pay for your own access
If your company is not paying for your access, you can subscribe as an individual driver in the Log Ninja app.
You will be able to choose from monthly, quarterly, or annual plans.
If you joined Log Ninja before 1 June 2026, you are eligible for the Founding Member rate on quarterly or annual plans.
If your company pays for your access
If your company pays for your access through the Transport Operator Portal, you do not need to subscribe separately in the app.
Your full Log Ninja access continues while the company subscription is active.
If your company stops paying for your access, you will not lose your records. You can subscribe as an individual driver in the app to keep creating new log entries.

Open the app
View your existing log history
Export your records
You will not be able to create new log entries until you have an active subscription.
Your records are not deleted.
Subscription FAQs for drivers
When does this change happen?
The change happens on 1 June 2026. Nothing changes before that date.
What do I need to do before 1 June?
Nothing. Keep using the app exactly as you do now.
When can I subscribe?
You will have a 7-day grace period to choose a monthly, quarterly, or annual plan.
What is the 7-day grace period?
The 7-day grace period gives you time from 1 June 2026 to set up your subscription or confirm whether your company is paying for your access on your behalf. During the grace period, you can keep using Log Ninja. If you do not subscribe during the grace period, and your company is not paying for your access, your account will move to read-only.
What is the founding member rate?
The Founding Member rate is a lower price for drivers who joined Log Ninja before 1 June 2026. The Founding Member rate is:
$25/quarter, incl. GST
$90/year, incl. GST
This rate applies to your first billing period only. After that, your subscription renews at the standard rate.
What if my company pays on my behalf?
If your company pays for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal, you do not need to subscribe individually in the app. Your full Log Ninja access continues while the company subscription is active.
What if my company stops paying for my access?
You will not lose your records. If your company stops paying for your access, you can subscribe as an individual driver in the app to keep your account fully active and continue creating new log entries.
What if I change jobs?
Your logbook goes with you. You will still be able to view and export your existing records. To keep creating new log entries, your access will need to be covered by an active subscription. Your new company can pay for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal, or you can subscribe as an individual driver in the app.
What if I become an independent contractor?
Your logbook still goes with you. If you are no longer covered by a company subscription, you can subscribe as an individual driver in the app to keep creating new log entries.
What if I drive for more than one company?
Your logbook stays with you as the driver. If you pay for your own subscription, your driver access remains active under your own account. If a company pays for your access on your behalf through the Transport Operator Portal, your full access continues while that company subscription is active.
What should I do if I am unsure whether my company is paying?
Check with your company first. They may be planning to pay for your access on your behalf.
What happens if I do not subscribe?
If you do not subscribe during the 7-day grace period after 1 June 2026, and your company is not paying for your access on your behalf, your account moves to read-only. You will not be able to create new log entries, but you can still view and export your full log history.
What is read-only access?
Read-only access means you can still open Log Ninja, view your existing records, and export your log history. You cannot create new log entries until you have an active subscription.
Will I lose my log history if I do not subscribe?
No. Your existing log history will remain available to view and export. You only need an active subscription to keep creating new log entries.
