Quick answer
Use this article when you already ran Shopify product sync and products, variants, SKUs, barcodes, or product attributes still look wrong in Logentic. Start by confirming the source Shopify product, then collect one clear example before retrying or escalating.
Before you start
Have one affected product name, SKU, or variant ready.
Confirm whether the issue is product data, inventory level, order sync, or fulfillment/tracking sync.
Do not discard or resolve a failed sync record unless your team has confirmed what that action does.
Steps
If the product has not been synced yet, start with How do I sync new Shopify products with Logentic?.
Confirm the product, variant, SKU, and barcode values in Shopify.
In Logentic, open Inventory → Products and search for the same product or SKU.
If Logentic shows a product sync error queue in your workspace, review the visible error without discarding it.
Compare the Shopify source data with the Logentic product record.
If the cause is unclear, contact Logentic with the affected product/SKU and what you expected to sync.
Common blockers
If this happens | What it means | What to do next |
The product is missing. | It may not have synced yet, or it may be missing required Shopify identifiers. | Check Shopify setup and run product sync once. If still missing, contact Logentic. |
The SKU or barcode differs. | The product may have changed after the initial sync, or the wrong variant may be mapped. | Collect the Shopify product/variant and the Logentic product record before editing. |
COO or another attribute is missing. | Some attributes may require direct review or update in Logentic after initial import. | Use the COO article if the issue is Country of Origin, or contact Logentic if multiple fields are affected. |
Inventory does not match. | This is usually inventory synchronization, not product synchronization. |
When to contact Logentic
Contact Logentic when product sync stays stuck, a product blocks an order, a SKU/barcode mismatch could affect fulfillment, or you are unsure whether a failed sync record should be retried, corrected, or removed.
