Is there anything I can't store?

If you’re using our storage units service, we’ll store just about anything. We’re the UK’s storage experts so we also know what we can’t accept. Here’s a list of stuff that you mustn’t send in.

  1. All food and perishable goods including sauces (e.g. soy sauce and ketchup)

  2. All liquids

  3. Birds, fish, animals or any other living creature

  4. Explosives, firearms, weapons or ammunition (including but not limited to replicas, imitations and blank firing pistols)

  5. Any item which emits fumes, smell or odour

  6. Any illegal substances or goods illegally obtained

  7. Combustible or flammable materials, liquids or compressed gases, including but not limited to: paint, diesel, petrol, oil, gas, alcohol, artificial fertiliser or cleaning solvents

  8. Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents or hazardous materials, including items containing mercury.

  9. Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a dangerous nature

  10. Any other toxic, flammable or hazardous substance or preparations, classified as such under applicable law

  11. Tobacco

  12. Money, deeds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of any similar kind

  13. Cash, credit or debit cards

  14. White goods and appliances, such as refrigerators, freezers and washing machines that have not been thoroughly emptied, cleaned and/or defrosted prior to collection

  15. Any items that won’t fit through the door
