If you’re using our storage units service, we’ll store just about anything. We’re the UK’s storage experts so we also know what we can’t accept. Here’s a list of stuff that you mustn’t send in.
All food and perishable goods including sauces (e.g. soy sauce and ketchup)
All liquids
Birds, fish, animals or any other living creature
Explosives, firearms, weapons or ammunition (including but not limited to replicas, imitations and blank firing pistols)
Any item which emits fumes, smell or odour
Any illegal substances or goods illegally obtained
Combustible or flammable materials, liquids or compressed gases, including but not limited to: paint, diesel, petrol, oil, gas, alcohol, artificial fertiliser or cleaning solvents
Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents or hazardous materials, including items containing mercury.
Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a dangerous nature
Any other toxic, flammable or hazardous substance or preparations, classified as such under applicable law
Tobacco
Money, deeds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of any similar kind
Cash, credit or debit cards
White goods and appliances, such as refrigerators, freezers and washing machines that have not been thoroughly emptied, cleaned and/or defrosted prior to collection
Any items that won’t fit through the door
