Sherpr accepts shipments of boxes, suitcases, golf clubs, skis/snowboards, bike boxes, and musical instruments. Items not packaged in either a box or suitcase are eligible for loss cover only, in accordance with the selected insurance policy and applicable terms and conditions.

Here's a list of stuff that you mustn’t include in your shipment.

  1. Plastic bags, plastic boxes, bin bags, canvas bags and laundry bags unless these are packed inside cardboard boxes;

  2. Suitcases not packed in our suitcase boxes;

  3. Musical instruments in soft cases;

  4. Knives and sharp objects not suitably sleeved and wrapped;

  5. Mirrors or large glass items;

  6. Food and perishable goods including sauces (e.g. soy sauce and ketchup);

  7. Antiques (breakable and fragile);

  8. Birds, fish, animals or any other living creature;

  9. Explosives, weapons or ammunition;

  10. Any item which emits fumes, smell or odour;

  11. Any illegal substances or goods illegally obtained;

  12. Combustible or flammable materials, liquids or compressed gases, including but not limited to: paint, diesel, petrol, oil, gas, alcohol, artificial fertiliser or cleaning solvents;

  13. Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents;

  14. Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a dangerous nature;

  15. Any other toxic, flammable or hazardous substance or preparations, classified as such under applicable law.
