Automatic logging is one of the key features of our app. Once it's running, it works in the background to identify when you're riding a bike. You don't have to do anything when you start or stop your ride. The app will log your rides automatically for you. How great is that?!

As a rider, you have a convenient solution that automatically logs your bike rides on the Love to Ride platform, enters you in prize drawings, and earns points for you during a challenge.

What are the benefits of auto logging?

  • βœ… Shorter rides are logged every time - automatic logging captures rides from A to B, to get to the shops/work/university, etc., that other apps may miss.

  • 🚲 Make your community better for biking - the anonymous insights captured through our Love to Ride app is shared with local authority partners and bike advocacy groups who can plan and develop cycling infrastructure where it's needed the most.

  • 🎁 Automatically enter prize drawings and earn points - if you're taking part in a Love to Ride challenge you can be in with a chance of winning awesome prizes with zero effort.

How do I turn on automatic logging?

You can turn on automatic logging in several places.

  • On the 'Me' screen there is a reminder when automatic logging is off

  • You can also click the + icon on the 'Me' screen or the 'Rides' screen. This will show if automatic logging is on or off.

  • Finally, you can also go the 'More' screen and click on 'Settings'. The top item will tell you if automatic logging is on or if you need to enable it.

Once automatic logging is turned on, our app will work in the background to log your bike rides for you. No worries about clicking start or stop. You can enjoy your bike ride knowing our app will work its magic.
