LPagery Pro includes an image processing feature that allows you to create unique image metadata (such as alt tags and descriptions) for every generated page. When to Use This Feature
Using relevant keywords in your image metadata (e.g., filenames and alt tags) can give you a boost in SEO. If you want each generated page to have its own variation of an image with unique metadata, this feature is for you.
This article focuses on having the same images on the created pages but with different meta data. If you need to add entirely different images for each page, check out this article:
How to Use the Image Processing Feature
Step 1: Enable Image Processing
Enable the Image Processing Feature:
In LPagery’s settings, locate and enable the Image Processing option. Note that this feature is currently in beta and is most stable with Elementor, but it can work with other page builders as well.
Step 2: Prepare the Image on Your Template Page
Choose the Image:
Get the Image URL:
Insert Placeholders:
You can do this for every image on your template page to have completely SEO optimized images on the created pages.
Step 3: Add Image Information to Your Source File
Create a New Column in Your Source File:
Add a new column to your source file (CSV, XLSX, or Google Sheet) with the image filename as the header (e.g.,
cleaning-business.jpg
).
Fill in the Column:
For each row in your source file, fill in the desired image filename for the new images using placeholders. For example, if you’re generating pages for different services in various cities, you could use placeholders like:
{service}-in-{city}.jpg
service | city | cleaning-business.jpg |
Window Cleaning | Manhattan | {service}-in-{city}.jpg |
Floor Cleaning | Brooklyn | {service}-in-{city}.jpg |
Ceiling Cleaning | Queens | {service}-in-{city}.jpg |
Step 4: Generate Pages and Check Image Metadata
Upload Your Source File:
In the LPagery dashboard, upload the source file with the image information.
Preview and Confirm:
Generate Pages:
Once everything looks correct, click Create Pages. LPagery will generate pages with the duplicated images, each having its own filename and custom metadata.
Step 5: Review the New Images
Check the Media Library:
In the WordPress Media Library, you’ll see new versions of your images (e.g.,
ceiling-cleaning-in-queens.jpg
), each with the proper placeholders replaced by the actual values from your source file.
Why This Matters for SEO
By using LPagery’s image processing feature, you can optimize every image for its respective page, ensuring that:
Filenames reflect the content of the page.
Alt tags and meta descriptions include relevant keywords, which boosts your on-page SEO.
