Import Locations

Save time onboarding by uploading multiple shipping locations at once using a CSV file — no need to add them one by one.


Part 1: Prepare Your Import File

Proper file preparation is the key to a successful import.

1. Download the Template

To guarantee success, you must use the provided sample file. This ensures your column headers and formatting are correct.

  • Navigate to the Locations page from the main menu.

  • Click Import Locations at the bottom of the left sidebar.

  • In the pop-up window, click Download Sample to get the template.

2. Fill In Your Data

Open the .csv file in a spreadsheet program like Excel or Google Sheets. Fill in your location details without changing, moving, or deleting any of the column headers.

3. Save as a .csv File

When you're finished, save the file in .csv (Comma Separated Values) format. Uploading other file types like .xls or .xlsx will cause an error.

Part 2: Upload to LTL Select

  1. From the main menu (☰), navigate to Locations.

  2. At the bottom of the left sidebar, click Import Locations.

  3. In the pop-up window, click Upload File.

  4. Choose your prepared .csv file from your computer and click Open.

A confirmation message will appear once the upload is successful. Your locations will now be available in LTL Select.

Troubleshooting Tips

If your import fails, check for these three common issues:

Wrong File Type: Your file must be saved as .csv.

Altered Headers: The column headers in your file must exactly match the template. Do not rename, reorder, or delete any headers.

Missing Required Data: Ensure all required fields are filled out for every location in your list.
