Updated over 3 weeks ago

Adding a User:

To initiate the process of adding a user, start by clicking the three white horizontal bars on the upper left corner of the main screen, which represent the LTL Select Main Menu.

Proceed by selecting "Locations."

In the Users section on the far right, click on "Add User."

Once you've clicked "Add User," a pop-up window titled "Add User(s) to Location(s)" will appear.

Multiple users can now be added to multiple accounts at one time. In the first drop down, select the Location(s) or Account(s) you want to add the users to. You can select multiple Locations. Enter an email address and click "Add Recipient". Repeat this process until you have all the users added.

After you've entered an email address, click on "Add Recipient." The selected recipient(s) will be displayed in a pill-shaped box at the top.

Next, assign a role to the user(s) by selecting either "Owner," "Company User," or "Third Party Vendor" from the drop-down menu. Each role's capabilities can be viewed upon selection.

Just so you know, assigning a role is mandatory, and you won't be able to proceed until you've made a selection.

Once you've assigned a role, toggle the "Users" switches to the right, either to "Yes" or "ALL," depending on your preferences.

After configuring the permissions, click "ADD USER(S)."

The users will receive an invitation email with the subject line "LTL Select Location Invitation," containing a clickable link to LTL Select.

Upon clicking the LTL Select link, the invited user will be redirected to www.ltlselect.com, where they can create their unique username and password to access the site and their account. They can complete a simplified sign-up process by providing some basic information on the Sign Up page.

Managing User Access Requests

  • To accept a user’s request to access your LTL Select account, log in to your account and navigate to the Locations page.

  • Scroll down to the Users section where all current users and their requests are listed.

  • Click on the name of the user requesting access.

  • Assign their role and permissions as needed to approve the request. By following these steps, incoming access requests can be efficiently managed and approved.

Gaining Access When an Administrator is Unavailable

If the primary administrator is no longer available and you cannot gain access to the account, there are two common scenarios that you can address:

1. When You Have a Different Email Domain

  • Contact your FedEx account executive.

  • Request the account executive to send an email to support@ltlselect.com from their official FedEx email address.

  • Ensure the email includes your FedEx account number and email address needing access.

  • LTL Select will manually add you once this request is processed.

2. When You Share the Same Email Domain

  • Reach out to LTL Select support directly for assistance.

  • LTL Select support will handle permissions and can grant you access if within the same domain.

  • Once access is granted, log in, navigate to the Locations page, and manage users. These steps assist in resolving access challenges and ensure continuity in managing user accounts.

Additional Support

For unresolved access issues or complex scenarios, contacting LTL Select support is recommended at support@ltlselect.com. Provide necessary account details to expedite the process. This ensures you have comprehensive support for managing roles, permissions, and recovering account access.
