Managing Users and Permissions in LTL Select

This guide covers how to add new users, change existing permissions and manage access requests.

How to Add a New User

Follow these steps to invite a new user to one or more of your locations.

  1. Navigate to Locations From the main menu (☰) in the top-left corner, select Locations.

  2. Open the Add User Menu In the "Users" section on the far right of the page, click + Add Users.



3. Select Location(s) and Add Users In the pop-up window:

First, choose the location(s) you want to add the user(s) to. You can select multiple locations.

  • Next, enter a user's email address and click Add Recipient. Repeat this for each user you wish to invite.



    4. Assign a Role From the "Role" dropdown menu, assign a role to the user(s) Owner, Company User, Third Party Vendor. The capabilities of each role will be displayed upon selection.

5. Set Specific Permissions Use the individual toggles to grant or restrict access to specific features. This step is mandatory before you can proceed.


6. Send the Invitation Click ADD USER(S). The invited users will receive an email with a link to create their own username and password to access the account.



How to Change a User's Permissions

  1. Select the User From the main menu (☰), go to Locations. In the "Users" section, click on the name of the user you wish to edit.

  2. Update Their Access A permissions window will appear. From here you can:

    • Change their Role using the dropdown menu.

    • Grant or revoke permissions using the individual toggles.

    • Delete the user from the location entirely.



How to Manage an Access Request

When a new user requests access to your account, you can approve them with these steps.

  1. Navigate to the Locations page.

  2. In the "Users" section, find and click on the name of the user with a pending request.

  3. Assign their Role and set their specific permissions to approve the request.
