No — Luggers are not able to pay for items on your behalf. All items need to be fully paid for and ready for pickup before your Luggers arrive.
Picking up from a store?
Make sure your item is purchased and paid for before your Luggers arrive. Attach a photo of the item(s) and your receipt in the What are you moving? field when you book, or text it to your Luggers once they're dispatched.
Buying from a seller on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, or Nextdoor?
Pay the seller directly using Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or whatever works for both of you. This applies to any peer-to-peer purchase, including items from estate sales, garage sales, or private sellers.
You can pay the seller ahead of time, or wait until your Luggers arrive at the pickup and verify the item is there and in the condition you expected — then send payment to the seller directly. Just keep in mind that labor time starts when your Luggers arrive, so have your payment ready to go. Either way, your Luggers are there to pick up and deliver, not to facilitate payment between buyers and sellers.
