Does Lugg have weight limits?

For safety, Lugg has a 100 lb weight limit per Lugger (200 lbs per two-person crew) on any single item. Here's what to do if you have heavier items.

Yes. For the safety of your Luggers, your belongings, and your home, Lugg has a weight limit of 100 pounds per Lugger per item β€” that's 200 pounds per item for a two-person crew.

This limit applies to each individual item, not the total weight of your move.

What if I have an item over 200 pounds?

Lugg customers frequently move items over 200 pounds β€” like pianos, safes, and marble tables. Here's how:

  • Book an additional Lugg: Schedule a second Lugg at the same time with the same addresses so a second crew arrives to help with the heavy item. If you only need one extra set of hands, book a Lite. If you need two, book a Pickup.

  • Have extra hands on site: If the item is only slightly over the limit, you or someone you know can be at the pickup and drop-off locations to assist your crew.

If you're not sure what the best option is for your move, reach out to Lugg's support team at support@lugg.com and we'll help you figure it out.
