The fastest way to get clear and reliable information about your VPS is through the Overview page in your LumaDock account.

This page brings together service actions, live server stats, networking details and billing data in one place, so you don’t need to connect over SSH just to check basics.

Accessing the server overview

You can open the Overview page from the LumaDock client area by selecting your server and clicking Manage. The page loads instantly and shows the current state of your VPS along with all available actions.

This is the main control center for day-to-day operations and quick checks.

Service actions panel

The first panel focuses on direct power and system actions. These controls affect the entire VPS and work immediately.

Start
Starts the VPS if it is powered off.

Reboot
Reboots the operating system on your VPS.

Stop
Stops the VPS immediately. This is a hard power-off.

Shut down
Performs a graceful operating system shutdown.

Use Shut down when possible to avoid data corruption, especially during maintenance.

Service management panel

The Service Management panel gives access to advanced features and monitoring tools. Each button opens a dedicated section with more options.

Available tools include:

  • Backups

  • Backup jobs

  • Backup schedules

  • Disks

  • Firewall

  • Graphs

  • Network

  • noVNC console

  • Reinstallation

  • Resource notifications

  • Server monitor

  • Task history

  • VM power tasks

These options let you manage storage, security, access and performance without leaving the control panel.

Information tabs

The Information tabs are the fastest way to check the live status of your server. They update automatically and reflect the current state of the VPS.

Common values shown here include:

  • Status such as Running

  • Server name

  • Uptime

  • CPU usage and available cores

  • Memory usage

  • Mounted CD or DVD images

  • Boot order

  • Root disk size

  • Bandwidth usage

This section is ideal for quick health checks and confirming that changes took effect.

IP addresses and networking

The IP Addresses section shows everything needed to configure your network interface inside the operating system.

Displayed details include:

  • IP address

  • MAC address

  • Subnet mask

  • Gateway

If you’re setting up networking manually or troubleshooting connectivity, this is the first place to check.

Billing overview

The Billing Overview tab shows financial and subscription details for the selected server.

You’ll find information such as:

  • Registration date

  • Recurring amount

  • Next due date

  • Billing cycle

  • Payment method

This helps you confirm renewal dates and billing status without opening a separate billing page.

Server information

The Server Information section contains identification and DNS-related details.

Typical fields include:

  • Hostname

  • Primary IP address

  • Configured nameservers

These values are useful when setting up services, DNS records or external integrations.

Configurable options

At the bottom of the Overview page, you’ll see your current configuration options. These reflect how the server was provisioned and what upgrades are available.

Examples include:

  • Server location

  • Operating system template

  • Additional public IPv4 addresses

  • Backup retention slots

Some options can be upgraded directly from this section depending on your plan.

The Overview page is designed for speed and clarity. If you just need to start, stop, monitor or verify your VPS, this is the only page you’ll need most of the time.
