Trying a new service should feel safe, including when it comes to payments and refunds.

LumaDock uses Stripe as its payment processor. Stripe is one of the most established and widely used payment platforms in the world and is trusted by millions of businesses globally.

Even with a trusted processor in place, refunds are not always instant.

A refund can be fully completed on LumaDock’s side and still take time to appear in your bank or card account. This delay depends on external financial systems, not on LumaDock.

Why refunds take extra time

Once a refund is issued, it leaves LumaDock’s system and enters the payment network. From that point, the transaction is handled by your payment provider and bank.

Common reasons for delays include:

  • Banks and card issuers applying internal verification steps

  • Payment gateways batching or delaying settlements

  • Currency conversion or cross-border processing delays

Because of this, the refund may show as pending for a while or appear only after several business days.

What LumaDock can and can’t control

LumaDock controls when the refund is initiated. After that point, the timing is fully managed by your bank or payment processor.

If the refund status shows as completed on our side, it means the funds have already been released.

Where to find official policy details

Refund conditions and timelines are defined in our Terms of Services. For the full details, please review: https://lumadock.com/legal/terms-of-services

If the delay exceeds your provider’s standard processing window, contact your bank or card issuer directly.

They can see the transaction status in their system and confirm when the funds will be credited.
