Adding a recovery email ensures you’ll always have access to your LumiQ account—even if you lose access to your work email. This is especially important if you change firms or leave your current organization. With a recovery email, you can still access your listening history, certificates, and CPD/CPE records.
⚠️ Note: Your recovery email must be different from your current login email
Steps to Add a Recovery Email
Go to your Profile Page (top right corner of the app).
Scroll to the Recovery Email section.
Click “Set”
Enter the personal email you’d like to use.
If the user is already associated with a LumiQ user, you cannot use the email
Check that inbox for a verification email from LumiQ.
Open the email and click “Verify Recovery Email.”
You’ll be redirected back to LumiQ.
Once verified, your recovery email will appear on your profile.
