Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Access Billing Settings
From the LumiQ sidebar, navigate to the ADMIN TOOLS section and click Billing.
On the Billing overview page, click the Update subscription button.
2. Adjust Seat Quantity
You will be redirected to the "Update your subscription" page.
Locate the Quantity field.
Click the plus (+) button to add the desired number of additional seats.
The Subtotal at the bottom will automatically update to reflect the new annual price for the total number of seats.
Click Continue.
3. Confirm Your Updates
Review the Confirm your updates page.
What you'll pay yearly starting [Date]: This shows the new annual total that will be charged on your next renewal date.
Amount due today: This displays the amount you will be charged immediately for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Click Confirm.
4. Verify the Change
After processing, you will return to the CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION overview.
Ensure the Team (×[Number]) reflects the correct total number of seats.
Click Return to LumiQ Inc. on the left sidebar to return to your dashboard.
What happens next
Once the seats are added, you can immediately go to the Members tab under Admin Tools to invite new team members. Your Profile page will also update to show the new seat count (e.g., "Team Members: 1/3").
Troubleshooting
The "Confirm" button is grayed out. Ensure your payment method on file is valid. If the card has expired, click + Add payment method in the Stripe portal before attempting to update the seat count.
Common Questions
Will I be charged immediately? Yes. Adding seats triggers a charge for the time remaining in your current billing year.
Does this change my renewal date? No. Your renewal date remains the same, but the total amount charged on that date will increase to reflect the new seat count.
