Overview

LumiQ has developed a custom integration in coordination with LCVista. This integration enables organizations to populate LumiQ podcast episodes in an LCVista program catalogue, manage user access to LumiQ through LCVista user groups, and track completions and continuing education credits earned for those episodes in LCVista.

This article will cover the frequency in which episodes can be made available, the session data that will be visible, user management, and user completion tracking.

For more information on integrating your LumiQ subscription with LCVista, please contact your Account Manager or help@lumiqlearn.com.

LCVista Program Catalog

LCVista will load episode data into a LumiQ Learn program catalogue on a predefined schedule. LCVista administrators must associate their desired user group(s) to this catalogue in order for it to be visible in the user's LCVista Program Catalogue.

LCVista Program/Session Details

LumiQ episodes will be populated as individual sessions in LCVista. These sessions will include the following details:

  • Delivery Method: QAS self-study

  • Content Type: URL

  • Launch URL: A deep link directly to the LumiQ episode

  • Expiration: When an episode is archived by LumiQ, it will be set to expire in the LCVista catalogue. Expired episodes will still be visible on transcripts and under “My Learning” for users who have completed them or enrolled in them, but they will be hidden in the program catalogue, and it will not be possible to enroll in them.

  • Fields of Study: NASBA Topic Areas

Program Qualifications: Fraud, Jurisdiction specific ethics, valuation

Episodes that qualify for fraud, jurisdiction-specific ethics in select jurisdictions, and valuation will appear in LCVista.

LCVista Session Enrolment

You can enrol in a session from the Program Preview page. Selecting "Launch" on the session in LCVista will navigate you to the LumiQ Web App. You will also have access to launch a session from your phone, at which point you will be navigated to the mobile app to view the episode.

User Management

When you add users to the user group(s) that have access to the LumiQ Learn catalogue in LCVista, LumiQ will automatically add these users to your LumiQ organization membership and map them to the LCVista user.

New users who are added to LumiQ will receive an email to create their LumiQ account. Users must click through this email to correctly associate their LumiQ account with your organization.

All users, regardless of region, must select the United States as their country to ensure they are earning CPE credits. This will enable LumiQ to automatically sync completions to LCVista.

Users who are deactivated from LCVista are automatically removed from your organization's LumiQ membership. They will still have access to LumiQ to access their certificates but listening to additional episodes will not be recorded as organizational activity or sent to LCVista.

Single sign-on is not currently supported.

Completions

Sessions are marked complete in LCVista within minutes of the user receiving a certificate of completion in LumiQ. All course completions will appear with a status of “Passed with full credit".

Courses added through the integration prior to August 2024 will be shown as “Passed with custom credit” in the Manage Attendees page.

Integration Setup

The integration is quick and easy to set up. To start the process, email your LumiQ account manager or support (help@lumiqlearn.com).

The LCVista team will setup the LumiQ Learn Program Catalog in your LCVista tenant.

The LumiQ team will set up the user management and completion tracking. To complete this setup, the LumiQ team will book a meeting with a team member who has LCVista administrator access to obtain your LCVista API key and configure the setup.
