Order settings (Guests, POS, Draft orders)

Other settings regarding point allotment for orders.

In the "Order settings" tab, you can select how to reward guest checkouts, POS orders and draft orders.

Some of the settings might be locked due to your plan. Please refer to the following explanation about it's default behavior when locked.

Guest Checkout Points

Defines whether or not points are rewarded for guest checkouts. The default behavior when locked is to "reward" points to guests as well.

This setting can only be changed when subscribed to Enterprise plan or above.

If you are using the new Shopify account management, the concept of "Singing up" is deprecated, and therefor most customers are handled in a state similar to guests in the legacy account. Having this setting to exclude guests will stop most point allotment under the new account system, so please make sure to check your settings and allow earning points from guests when switching to the new account system.

POS Orders

Defines the point allotment behavior for POS generated orders.

This setting can only be enabled when you are subscribed to Enterprise plan or above, or if you have purchased the POS extension feature separately. When enabled, all POS orders will get rewarded automatically.

Draft Orders

Defines if orders created from draft are rewarded. This setting is accessible in all plans.
