How to Create a Thread in Lupa Notes

Create Threads to guide Lupa's AI in editing your notes—select a consultation, add a thread, type your instructions, and review.

What is a Thread?

A Thread lets you give instructions to the Lupa Notes AI Assistant to restructure or enhance your consultation notes—whether you're summarising, formatting, or creating client-facing content.

Creating a Thread

1. Select a Consultation
Use the navigation bar on the left to choose the consultation you want to work with.

2. Add a Thread
Click the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner of the consultation page.

3. Enter Your Instructions
At the bottom of the Thread panel, type your request—for example:
“Create a summary for the client” or “List key takeaways”.

The AI will generate a new version of the notes based on your input.

Navigating Threads

To view past threads:

  • Use the horizontal bar at the top of the consultation.

  • It displays all threads linked to that consultation.

  • Click any thread to view or continue working on it.
