Tip: If you only need to apply a fee to a specific country and not states or provinces, try using a Market-based fee.
On our Starter Plan for non-Shopify Plus stores, location-based fees rely on a “Confirm your location” pop-up before checkout. This step cannot be removed or customized as it’s required to ensure the correct fees are applied.
On our Plus Plan for Shopify Plus stores, the process works differently. Fees are only applied once the customer enters their address during checkout, so the pop-up step isn’t needed.
Summary:
