If you didn't receive a meeting summary, or the meeting shows an error, use this guide to diagnose and fix the issue.

An error message was shown ("We couldn't generate your summary")
This typically means the recording was captured but could not be processed into a summary. Common causes:
Meeting was shorter than 3 minutes — Timeless requires at least 3 minutes of audio. Very short meetings are not summarized.
The bot was stuck in the waiting room — If you have a Zoom waiting room enabled and the bot was never admitted, it recorded nothing. See how to disable the waiting room.
The bot was removed from the meeting early — Only a partial recording was captured. See this article for more details.
Wrong language setting — Make sure the meeting language in your preferences matches the language spoken. See language settings.
Audio quality was too poor — If the microphone or internet connection was very unstable, the audio may not be processable.
What to do
Open the meeting in Timeless and check the AI Notes tab for any specific error message.
If you have a local recording, upload it manually.
If the issue is unresolved, email hey@magical.team with: meeting name, date and time, and your login email. We can investigate and, where possible, recover the recording for you.
I never received a notification that the meeting was summarized
The summary is always available inside Timeless in the AI Notes tab of the meeting. If you're not receiving email notifications:
Check that your notification preferences are enabled in Preferences → Notifications.
Check your spam/junk folder.
Make sure the correct email address is set for your account.
