Text-to-Speech helps students listen to assignment questions read aloud. As the text is read, each word is highlighted to support focus and comprehension.
Teacher Setup
Teachers can enable Text-to-Speech for individual students.
To enable Text-to-Speech:
Go to the Students tab.
Select your class.
Click the three dots (...) next to the student’s name.
Open Support Settings.
Toggle Text-to-Speech on.
Student Experience
Students can use Text-to-Speech during assignments at any time.
During an Assignment
Students click the speaker icon in the top-left corner to hear the problem read aloud.
As the text is read, each word is highlighted, helping students follow along and stay focused.
During an assignment, students click the speaker icon in the top-left corner to hear the question read aloud.
Students Can Also Enable Text-to-Speech
Students may turn on Text-to-Speech independently through their account settings.
Via Account Settings
Open the Account tab in the student profile.
Toggle Text-to-Speech on.
