Accessibility in Magma Math

Magma Math includes accessibility features designed to help all students engage with math in a way that meets their individual learning needs. Many accessibility features work automatically, while others can be enabled by teachers or students as needed.

Built-In Accessibility Support

Assignments, Practice, and Fluency include built-in accessibility features such as:

  • full keyboard navigation

  • screen reader compatibility

  • accessible tab order

  • ARIA labels for supported elements

These pages meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

No additional setup is required to use these accessibility features.

Additional Accessibility Tools

Magma Math also provides tools that support a variety of learning and accessibility needs, including:

  • Text-to-Speech for reading supported content aloud

  • Language Support for translating supported content into multiple languages

  • On-Screen Keypad for accessible math input

  • Calculator Accommodations for individual students

  • Drawing Accessibility using the Alt key for greater precision

  • Help Queue so teachers can quickly identify students who may need additional support
