The Scrap Paper tool gives teachers a quick, flexible workspace for modeling math during instruction without needing to open a specific problem or enter Solve Mode.

What Is Scrap Paper?

Scrap Paper opens a blank drawboard directly from the Launch Tab.

Teachers can use:

  • writing and drawing tools

  • math manipulatives

  • a flexible blank workspace

This makes it easy to model ideas quickly during class instruction.

How to Access Scrap Paper

  1. Open an assignment.

  2. Navigate to the Launch Tab.

  3. Click Scrap Paper.

How Teachers Use It

Important Notes

  • Scrap Paper is temporary and is not saved after exiting.

  • Teachers do not need to enter Solve Mode or open specific problems to use it.
