You'll review your account, classes, and books so you can start creating assignments and using Magma with your students.
1. Tell Us About Yourself
First, we'll ask a few questions about your role and how you plan to use Magma.
Your answers help us better understand how you're using Magma and provide an experience that's relevant to you.
2. Review Your Classes
Next, you'll review the classes connected to your Magma account.
Depending on how your school or district manages rostering, you may also be asked to add missing grade levels or confirm information about your classes.
Take a moment to make sure the classes you'll be teaching are listed correctly.
3. Set Up Your Books
You'll then select the books you'd like to have readily available in your book list.
Choose the content that's most relevant to the grades and courses you teach. You can update your book list later if your needs change.
4. See Magma in Action
Finally, you'll get a quick preview of Magma in action so you can get familiar with the experience before getting started with your own classes.
Once you've completed setup, you're ready to start exploring Magma and creating assignments for your students!
What If My Classes Don't Look Right?
If a class is missing or the information doesn't look correct, your classes may be managed through your school or district's rostering system.
Reach out to us using the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of Magma, and we'll be happy to help determine what needs to be updated.
