Once printers are configured in the Back Office, each POS workstation must be set up to use them. This includes enabling receipt printing, assigning printers, and configuring column widths.
1ď¸âŁ Enable Receipt Printing
To activate receipt printing:
Go to Configuration > Printer on the POS
Toggle on Enable receipt print
This ensures the POS automatically prints customer receipts using the selected printer.
2ď¸âŁ Select Main Workstation Printer
Under Main Workstation Printer, choose which printer this specific POS will use for receipt printing.
The dropdown displays all printers configured in the Back Office.
Click Print Test to confirm the connection.
3ď¸âŁ Assign Kitchen Printers
If you use kitchen printing:
Toggle on Kitchen Printing Enabled.
From the list, select one or more kitchen printers assigned to this workstation.
Click Print Test to ensure each printer is reachable and active.
Only the selected printers will receive kitchen tickets from this workstation.
4ď¸âŁ Set Receipt Width (columns)
Under Receipt Configuration, set the number of columns based on your printer's specs:
Default recommendation: 48 columns
You can use the Print the column indicators button to test alignment.
The printout will show markers every 10 columns for reference.
Adjust the number if the receipt doesn't print correctly.
5ď¸âŁ Set Kitchen Ticket Width (columns)
In Kitchen Tickets Configuration, define the width of kitchen tickets:
Default recommendation: 42 columns
Refer to your printerâs technical sheet to confirm supported formats.

Be sure to test each printer after configuration to confirm network access and formatting.
If multiple POS stations are used, repeat this configuration on each device.
đ ď¸ Troubleshooting â Printer Not Responding to Test
If the Print Test button doesn't produce a receipt, try the following steps:
1. Check the Printer Power and Network
Make sure the printer is powered on
Confirm itâs connected to the same network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) as your POS terminal
2. Confirm the IP Address in the Back Office
Go to Settings > Printing > POS Printers & Kitchen Display Screen
Double-check that the IP address entered matches your printerâs actual IP
3. How to Find the Printer's IP Address
Most receipt printers allow you to print a self-test page that includes the current IP address. Here's how it's usually done:

Turn the printer off
Hold the Feed button
Turn the printer back on while holding the button
Release after 3â5 seconds
A page will print with network information, including the IP address
