MEV-WEB is the cloud-based sales recording solution required by Revenu Québec. It ensures that all POS transactions are transmitted securely and comply with provincial tax laws.

MEV-WEB replaces the former physical MEV âblack boxâ and is now integrated directly into your POS system.
âïž Initial Setup (Handled by our team)
If your business operates in Quebec, our Integration Team will activate MEV-WEB and ensure everything is set up for you in the Back Office before your POS system goes live.
đ§Ÿ Required Action â Revenu QuĂ©bec Identifiers
Once you've registered your business with Revenu QuĂ©becâs MEV-WEB program, you will receive the required identifiers (such as establishment number and business number).
These identifiers must be entered into the MEV-WEB tab in the Back Office by your team.
đ You can do this via Settings > MEV-WEB.
â What Happens Next
Once MEV-WEB is enabled, the POS will prompt for terminal registration the first time an employee try to open a table.
Each employee must have a POS employee profile created in the Back Office in order to be registered to the POS terminal(s) (covered in the MEV-WEB POS setup article â).
đ Receipts and Compliance
When MEV-WEB is active:
All transactions are securely logged and transmitted to Revenu Québec.
Printed receipts will automatically include all MEV-compliant fields (invoice number, QR code, etc.).
