Create and Edit Time Tracking Tags

Learn how to create, edit, and delete time tracking tags to categorise and monitor activities performed on work orders.

Create Time Tracking Tags

Before tracking time on work orders, you need to define time tracking tags. Admin access is required as this setting applies at the company level.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Work Management > Time Tracker.

  2. Under the All Tags section, click + Add New Tag.

  3. Enter a Tag Label and choose a colour.

  4. Click Save to create the tag.

Note: Each tag name must be unique.


Edit and Delete Tags

To manage existing tags:

  1. Click the ellipsis (three dots) on the tag you wish to edit or delete.

  2. Select:

    • Edit Tag — Change the tag label or colour.

    • Delete Tag — Remove the tag permanently.

Note: Deleting a tag will also remove all time tracking entries using that tag across work orders.
