What is a procedure?
A procedure is a digital checklist or form that guides service engineers through a set of steps when completing work. You can define service steps, add reference resources, and attach procedures to work orders. Engineers can complete procedures digitally, upload photos as proof, and collect signatures from company managers.
How do I create a procedure template?
Navigation: Open your Field Service workspace, then select Procedures from the sidebar.
Click the Create a procedure button in the top right corner.
Enter a Procedure Name and optional Description (maximum 270 characters).
Click Get Started.
Your new procedure page will load, ready for you to add content.
How do I build a procedure?
You can add headings, fields, sections, and split fields to structure your procedure.
Add a Heading
Click Heading under Add Item.
Enter the heading text.
Hover over the heading to Rename, Duplicate, or Delete it.
Add a Field
Click Field under Add Item.
Choose a field type from the available options.
Enter a field label.
Set the field as Required if needed.
Optionally add a description (maximum 300 characters) or attachments (PDF, Excel, or images up to 10 MB).
Use the icons to Duplicate or Delete fields.
Add a Section
Click Section under Add Item.
Sections allow you to group related headings and fields together.
Drag and drop items into the section to organise your procedure.
Add Split Fields
Click Split Fields under Add Item.
Two fields will appear side by side.
Each field can be changed to any field type except Image and Table.
Use split fields to display related information together and save space on your procedure.

How do I save a procedure template?
You can save Procedure templates by clicking on save button in the top right corner. Once your template is saved, it will be available to attach to work orders.
