How do I generate a PDF for a closed work order?
Navigation: Open your Field Service workspace, then select Work Orders from the sidebar.
The Generate PDF feature is only available for work orders in the Closed status.
Open the closed work order you want to export.
Click the Generate PDF button in the top right corner.
Select the content you want to include.
Click Generate to download the PDF.
What content can I include in the PDF?
When generating the PDF, you can select one or more of the following options:
Work Order Custom Fields: All custom fields added to the work order
Parts: List of parts attached to the work order with quantities
Time Trackings: Time tracking records associated with the work order
Procedures: Finalised procedures attached to the work order
The generated PDF will include the sections you select.
Does the PDF include company branding?
Yes. The generated PDF includes your company logo from Company Info in the header.
Why can I only generate PDFs for closed work orders?
PDFs are intended as final documentation for completed work. Closing a work order confirms that all tasks are finished, making it suitable for generating a summary report to share with customers or keep for your records.
